Why are so many people looking for accommodation in Chaminox?

Well, Chamonix and the neighbouring region have been a mecca for the winter sports, climbing and mountaineering fraternity for many years. Chamonix ( actually Chamonix-Mont-Blanc now since name change some years ago) is a town in eastern France, in the Haute-Savoie region, at the foot of Mont Blanc - hence the popularity with the skiing and snowboarding crowds. Just one hour from Geneva by road. It also has a spectacular cable car ride up to the Aiguille du Midi. Chamonix is so famous for its winter sports it actually features as a snow track on Sony’s Gran Turismo 4! In past years Chamonix was once labelled the Ibiza of the ski slopes due to its popularity with young brits, however the resort has calmed down a lot now and is considered slightly upmarket - although wild times can still be had with many a wild apres ski party if thats what you are looking for!

Nowadays, you simply dont have to put up with the traffic, there are cheap flights to Plymouth airport starting from just £33. An average taxi fare between Plymouth airport and the city centre is just £7.50, with an average journey time of less than 15 minutes.
